Traveling Changes Your Context

The more people I meet that travel frequently, the more I hear exactly the same thing.  There’s an old saying that a fish doesn’t know he’s in water until he’s pulled out.  That’s the effect of traveling. Regions have beliefs about things, whether it’s money, or how food should be bought, how to spend Friday evenings, how to treat family, and hundreds of other things.  Traveling to another culture opens your eyes because it lets you see how different other people view things.  In turn, you return with completely new viewpoints and wisdom.

Traveling changes your context.  We should all try it!
