We all end up in states where we are not being ourselves. Maybe we weren’t treated honestly by someone, maybe we lost someone important to us, or maybe the weather changed the schedule of something very important to us. Whatever the case may be, you want to feel what you are feeling, and then get back to being. Back to being means that we no longer are blaming the event or circumstances which led to us being derailed. To get back to being, I invite you to think about service. Whether it’s volunteering for a charity, stopping to help someone carry groceries, or randomly paying for the coffee of someone behind you in line at Starbucks, whatever the case may be, service can always be a great way to get there.
Service can return you to being. It’s certainly worth a try!
