Goals Are a Lifestyle

Another great quote from Nelson Mandela today: “After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.”  If you find yourself either stuck or complacent, in a place where you don’t feel like you’re moving forward, do something about it. Set goals which reflect what you really want, and get to these goals.  From this place you’ll see more to achieve, not less.  In any walk of life, once you start moving forward, you keep moving forward.  On the other hand, if you make the decision to stop pursuing goals, you’ll find that this builds momentum too.  Stopping is just as powerful as continuing if we let it happen.

Remember that you get one chance on this planet.  If you want to spend it getting by, surviving things as best you can, then don’t set any goals.  If you want to spend it living your fullest potential then begin by setting goals.  Much like climbing a hill shows you more hills, reaching a goal shows you many more goals.

Goals are a lifestyle.  Find a way to start moving forward, and you may never stop.
