Everybody needs a day off sometimes, no matter how much you love what it is you are taking off from. Maybe you are sick, maybe something else is taking your attention, maybe you just want to relax. This does not just apply to work either, it can apply to your favorite workout class, or a group of friends, or training for a marathon. There is nothing wrong with taking a day off once in awhile from anything.
If on the other hand, you are frequently taking off, struggling to find reasons to go as opposed to having reasons to be off, it is time to examine your true feelings. Is this truly where you want to be, truly what you want to be doing? Maybe the answer is yes, but maybe it isn’t. Either way, you are strongly encouraged to take a look. Would there be an alternative that would have you truly excited, taking days off only occasionally?
Be honest with yourself. Be where you want to be and who you want to be, and if your body or mind is fighting where you are then it is time to examine where you are.
