One way to be at your best is to stand for the best of others. The more you live, the more that people will do things that you don’t like. If it bothers you, then you can say something. Most of us don’t have a problem with this, but we could use an examination in the how we say it. Try to say things in an encouraging way. "I really like this idea, but I would like it even more if this part changed" sounds much better than "I think you’re being stupid about this". One way stands with people at their highest and best, the other way has a negative tone which is completely unneeded.
Be encouraging to others. Be clear about what it is you want while showing appreciation. It takes some practice, but it is very worth it.
